The annual Flag Day event held by the Bedford GOP was recently held at the home of Luke and Belinda Terry. Over 100 people attended all contributing to the festivities. The keynote speaker Rob Astorino discussed his upcoming campaign and the attempts by members of the Democratic Party to nationalize local elections. Even in Bedford, local residents on the Democrat committee have focused on national issues such as their attempt to declare Bedford a Sanctuary City and a $15 minimum wage requirement.
The Bedford GOP thinks that local governance is about local issues not about the desire of some to comment upon items out of local control.
In addition this year’s Republican Town Board slate made up of Kyle Carleton and MaryEllen McLaughlin laid out there platforms.
