Countywide Democrats are attempting to further nationalize local politics by attempting to turn Westchester into a sanctuary county.

By at 10 to 5 vote last week the County Board of legislators passed the so called Immigrant Protection Act.  Fortunately our local County legislator Francis Corcoran voted against the act.

County executive Rob Astorino has said that he will veto the law.

The law was supported and pushed vigorously by local Neighbors Link Executive Director Carola Bracco.

The Westchester Legal Aid Society along with numerous police organizations oppose the bill including the Hispanic Law Enforcement Assoc.
