He has served on the town’s Wetlands Control Commission and as a Katonah Fire Commissioner. He formerly served as the President of the Katonah-Lewisboro School Board. Don is committed to doing all he can to support and encourage the community organizations that make Bedford so special. He believes in working together to streamline all the incredible efforts that community members and employees put forth for the good of our town. He supports eliminating bureaucracy and continuing to deliver outstanding services at the same or lower cost to Bedford residents. Alli has dedicated efforts toward breaking down political polarization through bipartisan initiatives such as Experiment In Dialogue, the Renew Democracy Initiative, and The Flip Side, where she is a founding board advisor. She is also the author of Bleeding Heart Conservatives, co-founder of a civics-minded parenting site called Primerrily, and contributor at Manhattan Institute's City Journal. Peter Michaelis is running for a seat on the Town Board to better serve Bedford residents. During Peter’s 32 years in Bedford, he has raised two sons and contributed to a range of public service, volunteer, and leadership positions. He is currently Chairman of both the Zoning Board of Appeals and Communications Commission. Peter has served on The Conservation Board, Tree Advisory Board, Emergency Planning Committee, and led our Community Emergency Response Team. He is a former Chairman and President of the Bedford Historical Society, Vice-President of the Friends of John Jay Homestead, contributor to the Master Plan Committee, and member of the Bedford Coalition. Peter believes his personal and professional experiences will help his work on the Town Board. His private sector background as a television producer and small businessman, in addition to extensive town service, keeps him looking out for the best interests of our neighbors.

She is past President of the Westchester Clerk Association and the first Vice President for the New York State Town Clerk’s Association. Boo has lived her entire life in Bedford. She grew up in Katonah and now lives in Bedford Hills. She served for 7 years on the Katonah Lewisboro School Board and 3 years as its President. She is also a long-time member and past President of the Katonah Village Improvement Society, Former Vice President of the Bedford Hills Neighborhood Association, member of the Bedford Hills Lions Club, and the Bedford Hills and Katonah Women’s Clubs and serves on the Community Partners Committee for the Community Center of Northern Westchester.

Following Clark’s graduation from Harvard, he served in the Army for 8 years as an officer in the Special Forces and Infantry. He then earned a law degree and embarked on a diverse, 20-year legal career. Clark has litigated cases in state and federal courts, and for the last 3 years, he has served as a Hearing Officer for the New York State Gaming Commission and New York State Retirement System. Clark also has served on Bedford’s Zoning Board of Appeals since 2012, and he was a founding member of Bedford’s Veterans Advisory Committee. Clark has a deep commitment to Bedford, public service, and the law. He looks forward to serving the community and keeping Bedford a special place to live and work.
